Originally from South Africa, Diane is a licensed
esthetician and an accomplished airbrush makeup artist. Over the past 12 years, Diane has built a
well known
reputation in the business. Her work includes commercial, editorial, print, shows, stock photography
and bridal. In 2000, Diane received her license in esthetics and began to work in a clinical
environment. Soon after she was given the great fortune to
apprentice with Dr. Helene Friedberg, one of the pioneers in the art of permanent makeup. After 2 years
of training, Diane was given the opportunity to accommodate all new patient clientele interested in
permanent makeup.
I am very honored to have had the opportunity to
apprentice with Dr. Friedberg for the last 4 years.
I contribute my success to her guidance and
mentorship. Her impact has given me the tools, along
with my artistic talent to try and master the art of
permanent makeup.
I

Diane L. Makish
Originally from France, Dr. Friedberg is both a board
certified physician (Internal Medicine) and an accomplished artist. Since 1992, Dr. Friedberg has been
working almost exclusively on refining this revolutionary process of permanent cosmetic
enhancement. The large volume of procedures that she has performed, as well as her unique artistic talent,
have earned her recognition by the very best in plastic surgery and made her a leader in this field.
In 2002, I trained Diane in permanent makeup, and
since we have been working alongside each other. She is a true artist and my most talented student in 13
years.
